The National Debt: Does China / Japan really own the United States because of our Debt?

 

With our debt growing hugely every day of every year, does the United States really belong to Japan?

 

I wanted to bring up a topic that most people throw a blanket term over: who owns the United State's Debt? Out of our 16.738 TRILLION dollar deficit, where is all that money owed and who is it owed to? Are we a country that is owned by other countries because of our overall debt to them?

The answer is no. A friend of mine, Dr. Roger Blackwell, who is a renowned marketing expert showed me a graph that more accurately displays where the debt of the United States is owed to. Suprisingly, a good portion of the debt is owed directly to United Stated institutions and peoples. When calculating up the amount that is actually owed to other countries, it comes out that we owe our own country 66.6% of the overall deficit.

If we factor together all the different countries that we owe money to together, that comes out to around 33.4%.

SO WE REALLY OWE OTHER COUNTRIES A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE UNITED STATES DEBT.

So if we really factor it all out as to how much of the debt is owed to other countries, it comes out to about 5.58 trillion dollars is owed to other countries.

So in essence we are not owned by other countries. This country is still as independent as it has ever been. Now that being said, we are still in a government shut down, but that obviously is another issue altogether.

This also leaves another question, if we are not borrowing all this money to create debt with other countries, where is most of our national debt owed to? Well I will include a link at the very bottom of this post with the information I'm looking at, but here's a more written breakdown of the stats if you need it:

31.7% is owed to US Individuals and Institutions

16.0% is owed to US Social Security Trust Funds

12.0% is owed to US Federal Reserve

4.4% is owed to US Civil Service Retirement Funds

and 2.5 % is owed to US Military Retirement Funds

The truth of the matter is that we are creating our own debts to ourselves that we just haven't cashed in on yet. Our government couldn't handle if all the debts were called due at once. Bankruptcy may end up being an option with the problems that Americans have overall.

Demolition and Junk Removal : Double Dipping on both of my businesses and how I'm using them to push my online business forward

My businesses: The Demolition and Junk removal businesses, and how I keep my profit margins larger than most by double dipping on the profits.

 

So I currently run 2 different businesses: my demolition business, where we specialize in interior demolitions, and the junk removal business, where we haul off people's unwanted items. My advertising for these businesses is actually quite simple: I wake up in the morning and post free ads on Craigslist.

Those advertisements alone keep us very busy. It also stays on the very profitable side as well as we " double dip " on all of the jobs we do.

For instance, we recently were contracted, on our demolition business, to demo the kitchen and bathrooms in a home. The owner was going to just get rid of the cabinetry by way of dumping it. We took the cabinetry back with us (keeping it as undamaged as we could) and re-sold it to others at a reduced cost. This way we find a way of making profits not only by doing the job, but also off of the extra stuff the owners didn't want to deal with.

It accomplishes a few different goals: we recycle still good items so that the landfill doesn't pile up higher, we pass along the savings to the next individual who may need it, and we also earn a little extra money off of it ourselves.

On the other side, our Junk Removal Business, we were called by an individual who wanted us to remove his boat. He didn't want it anymore and it was still in usable condition. We picked up the boat, dropped it in the canal and drove it up to a friend's house who lived on the canal. After getting it up in the air a little better we figured out we didn't really want to mess with it because the boat had some mechanical issues that would need to be fixed and also we were contracted to pick up a better boat than the one we already had.

THAT BOAT WE REALLY DID THE DOUBLE DIPPING ON BECAUSE WE SOLD THE MOTOR OFF THE BOAT AND THEN THE BOAT HULL TOO. 

In reality, I'm using both of these businesses to push forward my online marketing campaigns and also using the experience I've gained to push through to the next big thing.

These businesses are awesome and they keep everything moving forward. I'm so happy to be a part of them, but I definitely am looking at this online marketing side for my retirement.

So with my demolition business that I run, I came across something kind of unique and I think all of you would love to hear about it. We were contacted by a mobile home park who requested that we demo about 10 of their existing trailers. So I went to go bid out that job and met the person who had called.

Well during our conversation about the job, I realized that this person had some other trailers for sale that looked pretty decent. I asked them what they would be willing to sell it for. I was interested because I thought my parents would love the trailer for two reasons: it looks better than the one they have up in Tampa, and because I think they would like to live closer family down in Fort Meyers.

After talking about with them on price and having my family come and check out the trailer, we purchased it and used some of the items I got through the junk removal business (cabinets, carpet, etc.) to make the place nice.

AFTER TALKING WITH THIS MOBILE HOME OWNER I FOUND THAT THE OWNER WAS IN NEED OF GETTING MORE RENT COMING THROUGH. I CULTIVATED THAT RELATIONSHIP FURTHER AND BOUGHT 2 MORE OF THE TRAILERS THAT HE HAD FOR LITERALLY NOTHING. 

I'm going to turn it right back around, fix it up nicely and have it ready for move in so I can sell it to another family in need and sell it to them cheap. I think this is an awesome opportunity for me to pay it forward because this owner sold me them for extremely cheap and I think that others deserve that same care.

  printer blankets which fetch as much as $750 on eBay per completed eBay, had an offer for some damaged 6 damaged blankets for $800 this morning

  sold a table and 6 chairs I got paid to pick up for $150 this morning

  got paid $100 to pick up two jet ski’s, the one was running, I spent $400 to tune it up and change out the hoses and now I have a working jet ski, similar jets skis fetch $1500 on craigslist.

  We got paid $250 to pick up a commercial receptionist desk, have it on craigslist for $500 might keep it.


• 
  I have sold $1500 or more eBay this month


• 
  And, my dad had a garage sale this weekend and made $250 on stuff that would normally be thrown away.

Scrap Metal - That is my subject today. It may not be sexy but it pays cash today.

Scrap metal is maybe the best little secret of the junk removal business.

This is a pile of Aluminum scrap I took in (Notice the smaller pile closer to the camera from of the bigger pile) it came from a mobile home we took down, this was about $300 dollars. I took this with my small dump truck. (shown below) (I bought this truck cash from by largest scrap metal pick up to date, it was big and we split a large amount of money I did the work at my expense, we split the different scrap.) That's a story for later.....

By the way that is a whole tractor trailer - trailer about a 45 footer, cut up and heading for the scrap yard. You might be shocked to hear how I cut it up with an ordinary tool. This truck is more or less an over-sized heavy duty pick up truck. Came from Disney World.


 The scrap metal you encounter will be plentiful, the key is to know the basics of the scrap metal business. You don not need to be an expert do make decent money with scrap metal. Most scrap metal brings in the 10 cent range, I have been paid as low as 8 cents a pound and as much as 13.5 cents a pound. When we are working at a warehouse location a dumpster provided by the scrap yard is the best way to get the scrap to the yard.

In this picture I have I am guessing $200 or so for the scrap on this trailer. To me its really just free money its stuff we get in the normal function of our scrap and demolition business.

So just a small overview of the scrap business as it relates to the junk business.

Work from home for yourself, Get Junk Free! Sell It For CASH!!!! Where and How?

So Logan and I move back to Cape Coral, Fl from Tampa, Fl. Mainly to learn a computer software program for a friend of mine that was thinking her job might be close to an end she is a speaker for one of the big names in the Real Estate Guru world. She wanted me to learn the system, for prospecting for Real Estate investors, and finding properties for investors, it was called the SIMMS system. The idea was if her job ended it would be a quick move into the RE wholesale business. Its in this system, I learned a few of these tricks I have used to promote this Junk business.

In Tampa we were mainly having large yards sales up, and doing odd jobs to make money. We were getting the stuff to sell from all the foreclosure set outs, and driving around on garbage day.

When we came back to Cape Coral I was on the computer most all day for weeks learning this program. I had a cheap place to stay, however I had Logan in a private school And need to make more money without taking time away from the training. I hesitating about going back into the RE business, I was certain the market was going to crash again.

I was getting a small wage each week, however it was not enough to live on and pay for the schooling. So one day, coming back from lunch, I was driving down the street and I see this like new couch on the street in front of an expensive house, I could not believe the condition. I pulled over, was shocked to see both the condition and it was still a current style and color. This was confirmed by the speed in which it sold. I put in the back of my Ford explorer, got back to the house and took a picture put it on Craigslist and it sold that afternoon for $100.

So that's more or less the start of this junk business.

I would go out after Logan went to bed, I would leave at 10:00 PM and be back by 12:00 PM, most nights with a trailer and suv full of Junk/stuff to sell.

I got a garbage route map from the city and I drove it picked up stuff, and sold it the next day, sorted and stock piled the metal.

Limited space taught me quick what would sell and what would not. These are things I want to share with you. I learned how to maximize limited space, I wanted to work form home and most of all for myself. This started off as a way to get back into Real Estate. This business is addicting, fun, interesting and profitable.

Can make a few extra bucks with little effort, you can support your family with this quickly or make it into a fun full time local wealth building system. These all this week!!! Been making money in an unconventional way.

Basically we get junk using mostly free avenues (or they pay us!!) and sell it for Free on Craigslist or through eBay. This is an oversimplification, however what I am going to teach is the way we do that to maximize limited space and show you how to do this to keeping the trash that you will need to get rid of down to a minimum, show you how to maximize your time and how to make additional money with the scrap metal that is interwoven into this Junk!!!

I have done this business so many ways its incredible, from broke, broke to comfortable, I can tell you I am really excited to tell you about it. I am telling you from Garbage picking to running it from a storage unit, out of my house, and from both 2500 square foot warehouse to a 7000 square foot warehouse retail situation, how I moved locations with hardly a hickup in income.

One of the ladies that worked with us used to say "its like Christmas everyday". That may be a slight stretch, however its a really fun feeling to be loading stuff out to the truck and seeing things that are most likely worth some bucks many times stuff I wanted to buy but never had the money for.

I can't even express how much excitement this business generates is for me. I am more excited to show others how to get free if they want to. I am talking about making a few more bucks to supplement your fixed income or make lots to support your family or amplified to make you wealthy.

Well I have been considering teaching other to do this for a few years now. I have asked a few people I know about whether people would like to know how to do something like this. 

I learned how to do this Junk business because through desperation. See I worked for myself my whole life except when I was in the Air Force, (I did work a few low paying jobs in prior to the Air Force) I did not want to go to work for someone else after the Real Estate market crashed for me in 2007.....even if I was going to make less money.
